Originally from Topsfield, I look at myself as a true family person. Raised by two University of Maine graduates, my father is a Civil Engineer while my mother works as a P.E. teacher in the town of Middleton. I slowly followed suit playing hockey first at Cortland State (SUNY) and ending my career at The University of Maine.

The oldest of two brothers, taking the lead has never been an issue.
