But then something of interest popped onto the market so we attended the open house and knew we wanted to make an offer. Except, we didn't have a realtor in the area yet to represent us as the buyer. I knew Wendy from living in town and reached out to her. We knew the type of offer we wanted to make, how much we were comfortable offering, and if she would be willing to help us. The very next day Wendy had an appointment to see the home with her again (knowing offers were due next day by 5pm) it was a home that was HOT and many made offers. Wendy knows the market and advised us how to position ourselves to make what might not be the highest offer, but a very strong offer with a larger deposit. We were right, we were not the highest offer on the table, but we could be flexible with the closing of the home and work with the timeline best for the current homeowner. Ultimately, she took our offer! As soon as our offer was accepted, Wendy contacted her team and went to work! Cricket, Hannah, and Elizabeth were there to guide us through the purchasing of the new home. Hannah put together a great timeline of what we had to do to get ready to move in from, meeting with the Lawyer, Getting Gas, Electric, Water, etc going and when that needed to be done by. And Hannah would follow up along the way with updates to the timeline which made the buying a very seamless process, well not seamless, as it's a lot of work to buy any house, but Hannah and Wendy were there to make sure we didn't miss a step! We just closed last week and are settling in now. What a great buying experience. This was our 4th home in which we were purchasing, having bought and sold two other homes before. We are now working with Wendy and Elizabeth to guide us through the selling process and I know that process will be just as excellent! Highly Recommended!
